Every part of nature is alive, but some places gain so much significance that they become truly alive; a spirit is born. Spirits are personifications of old and mystical places, becoming protectors of whatever they were born from. If you disrespect their home, they will strike. But killing them is bad luck, the place will wither with them. However, if you manage to befriend them you might receive some unique gifts.
